DaybreaK ARTS Illuminate Art GALA 2025 Breaks Records—and Puts More Money in Artists’ Pockets

Daybreak Artist A.M. Hassan works on a live painting for sale during the 2025 Illuminate Art Gala

The 11th annual Illuminate Art Gala hosted by Daybreak Arts was nothing short of extraordinary. Not only did the event sell out and attract its most enthusiastic crowd to date—it shattered its fundraising goals.

The goal for the evening was $11,000 in art sales. By the end of the night, over $13,000 in artwork had been sold—a new record for the organization. And that’s just the art. When you add in the incredible support through ticket sales, generous sponsorships, and a lively silent auction, the impact was undeniable.

Best of all? More funds than ever are going directly to the artists Daybreak serves—artists navigating homelessness and housing insecurity who are building creative careers with purpose and pride.

Thank you to everyone who showed up, bid big, and believed in the power of art to change lives. This year’s Illuminate proved that when our community comes together, we don’t just meet goals—we blow right past them.
